As Area Sales Manager you will sell their range of machines to a wide variety of clients across the UK and parts of their export regions both directly and through agents. Within this you will need the technical ability to understand client requirements and provide the best solution and return on investment in order to secure orders from national and international accounts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Planning, budgeting, organising and attending International exhibitions to promote the company and its products
- Maximising sales opportunities at exhibitions
- Producing quotations for customers to meet project deadlines
- Manage and progress orders for national and international accounts
- Manage sales leads both face-to-face and over the phone
- Research and contact new sales leads
- Provide potential customers with technical advice related to machine specifications
To carry out this role they are seeking a motivated sales professional with a proven track record of negotiation and securing new business. Given the cost and timescale of sales its key you have a track record in selling high cost solutions. Experience selling relative products into manufacturing is also key, examples of relative products include cutting tools, machine tools, tooling, work holding, consumables and machine capacity.
