A world leader in power connections is looking for a driven individual who can hit the ground running as an Area Sales Manager covering the Midlands. Providing electrical connection components, cabling and power connectors to a variety of industries including Rail, Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, Test and Measurement and Power Generation, this company’s technology has a wide range of applications. If you have experience in electronics or electricals in any of these areas, then you would easily fit into this role.
As you will be responsible for such a large area you will have a lot of responsibility and the potential for exponential growth is down to you and your attitude. You will have a good level of autonomy from the start however the Sales Manager for the UK will offer their support should you need it as you find your feet. The ability to create your own business area in the direction that you are most interested in is one of the main benefits of this role.

As the successful candidate you:
- Have a relevant technical qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, Apprenticeship)
- 5-10 years’ experience in sales (Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Field Sales)
- Able to manage your own sales activities and find new deals
- Experienced at extracting more business from current customers
- Successfully hit targets
