Job Description

My client is a market leader in the design and distribution of domestic electrical safety products across Europe and other territories.  After an exciting period of growth and development, they now have an opening for an Assistant Quality Manager to support and assist the Quality Manager in the day to day running of the Quality Department.

The role will require you to support the development of the inspection processes of incoming and outgoing goods & components. You will be directly involved in the product returns process and you will also need to deal with customer complaints in accordance with 8D. There will also be an element of managing the flow of information to contract manufacturers and suppliers so supplier liaison experience would be beneficial. You will also be involved in internal audit activities for ISO 9001:2015. You will also be required to use problem-solving skills (root cause analysis) to solve product non-conformances.

Key Qualifications/Experience needed include:
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Experience of working in a similar Quality related role
  • Electronics background is preferable
