This is a great opportunity to join a company during the launch phase of a brand new factory.  Joining as Design & Technical coordinator your role will be key to the factory’s success.

You will be responsible for the design and technical coordination of multiple modular build projects, developing detailed designs that will realise the businesses architectural ambitions. This will include the design and management of product and project workflow as well as collaborating with colleagues in the commercial, production and construction departments to ensure design for continuous/repeat build, ongoing process improvement, increased productivity and a collaborative design approach.

Additional responsibilities will include supervising the work of CAD technicians, coordinating the design and issue of design information packages, ensuring work complies with relevant building regulations and liaising with subcontractors and third party’s to ensure they are able to successfully meet design criteria’s set.

To successfully fulfill this role they are seeking an experience design coordinator with the following skills/experience:

-          HNC/HND or degree qualified in an engineering discipline


-          Previous experience in the design of structural elements of buildings – experience in the design of modular systems is desirable but not essential


-          A working knowledge of building regulations and other related statutory requirements


-          Strong CAD skills ideally in the use of AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks and/or other 3d modeling software
