This management opportunity for an experienced quality professional comes from a global manufacturer of Electro-mechanical products in to regulated industries. 

They are seeking a Quality Engineering manager to provide strategic direction to all quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities in support of company objectives making certain that all procedures, processes, practices and controls are properly developed, implemented and maintained.

You will support both design and manufacturing processes ensuring products meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.  You will regularly provide guidance to engineers and technicians assuring all products meet the maximum quality and reliability attainable. 

As Quality Engineering manager you will lead a team of 7 direct reports including quality engineers, technicians and quality controllers.

In addition you will make sure any product issues that do arise are promptly investigated and suitable corrective and preventative action taken.

-          Degree or HNC/HND plus experience in an engineering discipline


-          5 + years’ experience in a Quality Systems role within a electro-mechanical, electronic or medical device manufacturing environment


-          Proven track record in a supervisory role


-          Experience in a heavily regulated industry
