Job Description

This new position for a Senior Quality Engineer comes from a global leader in the development of medical devices. They are offering the opportunity to join an established business as they strive to bring to market a range of sophisticated medical and industrial products.

Your role will be to participate with the design and manufacturing process to ensure products meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets. You will play a key role in ensuring product issues are investigated and suitable corrective action procedures undertaken and will be responsible for ensuring products meet the quality standards required including ISO13485 and FDA quality systems regulations.

You will also lead cross functional project teams to resolve complex quality problems which may affect the business i.e. product recalls, production downtime, patient safety or external regulatory action.

To apply for this role you need to demonstrate the following skills/experience:

-          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (i.e. HNC/HND + experience) in a engineering or biological science discipline


-          5 years’ experience in quality engineering role within a medical devise, surgical instrument or electro-mechanical environment


-          Experience in a medical device facility and knowledge of ISo13485 and FDA quality system regulations.
