Job Description

This is exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturer and world leader in the design and manufacture of electronic components. A specialist in power conversion and DC-DC products they have a varied customer base across the communications, industrial and medical markets.

Joining the Business Development team as strategic marketing manager your role will be to grow business profitability and product revenues by supporting and developing global sales channels. This will include the promotion of existing and new products. In addition, you will work closely with the NPI team using your knowledge of customer and market requirements to guide future product development.

Your responsibilities will include:

-          Working closely with the engineering team to develop the company’s product roadmap


-          Macro-level market analysis ensuring the product roadmap is competitive in the current and future market


-          Identifying and defining new product opportunities including market size, target customers, value proposition, competitive positioning, pricing and resource requirements


-          Supporting company sales channels with NPI from testing through to mass production


-          Develop and maintain product data and price lists

To successfully apply for this position you need to be a degree educated electrical engineer with a strong understanding of power electronics.  You will also need to evidence 5 years + experience in the power conversion sector in a marketing or field applications engineering position

This position will require international travel.
